Restlessness is a Gift: The Spirituality of Abiding in Unsettled Seasons
No one really wants the restlessness that comes with life. More than that, when we are on the ever-deepening spiritual journey, restlessness is seen as an enemy that only crops up when we’re on the wrong path. But what if instead of an evil or an obstacle, restlessness holds a key invitation for our journey with the Divine? In this retreat, author and spiritual director Casey Tygrett leads us into an exploration of the irritated, unsettled seasons that we call restlessness. Through teachings on key restless questions and times of silence and solitude, we will explore how restlessness can be a gift.

Expressive Arts as a Spiritual Practice
God created our minds and our bodies to work together to process our stories, to live out our relationship with Him, and to internalize His Truths. In this experiential workshop, we will explore ways we can bring our whole person into our time of solitude with the Lord. We will begin with Lectio Divina, then we will engage in several expressive art modalities – poetry, art-making, and movement – to experience on a deeper level what arose during our time of prayer. No previous art experience needed.
