Seeking God Together– An online sampler class introduction to Spiritual Direction
Hands-on Spiritual Direction observation and practice
Are you on the fence about joining our Tending the Holy spiritual direction program, or still unsure what Spiritual Direction is? Are you a Christos alum who might want a refresher? Or would you just like to spend some time with Alice Fryling’s Seeking God Together book, or experience and practice group spiritual direction?
Join a six-week, online Introduction to Spiritual Direction session this summer.
Dates: Every other Wednesday, starting June 11, 2025 — 9:30 – 11:30 am CT

Session dates: Every other Wednesdays June 11 and 25; July 9 and 23; and August 6 and 20, 2025.
Our curriculum will be based on Seeking God Together by Alice Fryling. Please purchase book on your own and have chapters 1 & 2 complete by first class session.
What we’ll learn:
We’ll begin with a brief discussion on the topics of the book’s chapters, but most importantly this will be a hands-on class where you will get to observe group spiritual direction in process and then get to try it yourself. We’ll talk about what we are learning in the book and then actually practice it! This is a great way to experience the power and beauty of the charism of spiritual direction.
Minimum of 10 registrations required for class to be held.
