Join us for a two-night retreat created to rejuvenate and restore your soul. This retreat is designed with spiritual companions in mind (spiritual directors and those in ministry who accompany others on their spiritual journeys). We hope this will be a contemplative, restful retreat and will include a variety of embodied practices, invitations for some silence and times to be in nature on the peaceful grounds of Siena Retreat Center. Siena is located in Racine, Wisconsin on the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan.
Does your soul need some tending as you've companioned others? Take a pause and listen for Jesus' gentle invitation to "come away with Him" (Mk 6:31) and receive what only He can provide- some real nourishment for your ministry heart & soul.

What you’ll experience:
Retreat will be held at Siena Retreat Center, on the shores of beautiful Lake Michigan in Racine, Wisconsin.
Retreat includes: a private room and bath, plus six meals; guided prayer experiences throughout the retreat; an optional 30 minute session of Spiritual Direction, times of silence and some optional group sharing; embodied practices such as: SoulCollage and movement; plus access to the art room & grounds of the retreat center.

2-4 pm CT - Arrival, registration & settling in
4:30pm - Welcome / Our First gathering - Checking in on your spiritual director’s soul
5:30 pm - Fellowship Dinner
6:30 pm - First Prayer experience - Examine: what are you grateful for as a spiritual director?
Evening silence begins after the evening prayer experience.
Friday, August 9

9:30 am - Second Prayer experience - “Spiritual direction is/was/could be”
Lunch
1 pm - Third Prayer experience - What is emerging for you as a Spiritual Director? How do I want to show up as a Spiritual Director? How are you being invited to respond?
2-5 pm - Free time (optional offer to receive a 30-minute 1:1 Spiritual Direction session)
Dinner
7 pm - Fourth Prayer experience - Reaffirming your calling, resting in God’s call
Saturday, August 10
Continental Breakfast
10 am - Final gathering, group share & closing - How is the Holy Spirit moving your forward within your community? What supports do you need?
Fellowship Lunch
1 pm - Retreat Ends
There is an option to extend your stay overnight on Saturday, August 10 with self-guided time on your own. Extension option includes overnight accommodation plus dinner Saturday and breakfast Sunday.
Costs:
PRICE: $425 for registrations June 25-July 29
CHRISTOS ALUMNI REDUCED PRICE: $395 for registrations through July 29.
EXTENSION: Optional one-night accommodation/meal extension on Aug. 10 is an additional $96.
Attendees are responsible for their own transportation to Siena Retreat Center. Costs are non-refundable, but transferable to another person if you cannot come.
Retreat is facilitated by Cecilia Whitacre, Spiritual Director and Christos Staff member. Space is limited. A minimum of 10 people must register in order for the retreat to be held. Please register early to assure your spot!
