Tending the Soul Retreat - With Open Hands

Henri Nouwen in his book With Open Hands uses the physical gesture of receiving to communicate the action of vulnerable hospitality with God in prayer.  His wisdom includes radical availability not only in our relationships with Jesus but also with self and others. During this quiet day, through scripture, story, prayer and creative activity, we will make space to listen to the Spirit’s personal invitation to live “with open hands.”   If you are attending in person at Christos, please bring your lunch.
